Neue Kategorie: Gentoo-de

Nachdem nun sämtliche Einträge der Kategorie Gentoo automatisch auch im Planet Gentoo und dort die Sprache der Wahl natürlich Englisch ist, hab’ ich nun noch die Kategorie Gentoo-de hinzugefügt. Hier wird wohl alles in Zusammenhang mit Gentoo landen, was nicht so recht in den Planet passt oder was ich einfach mal (auch) auf Deutsch schreiben [...]

Update auf Wordpress 1.5

Da ich dank Erkältung eh recht unproduktiv bin im Moment, habe ich heute mal die Blogsoftware auf Wordpress 1.5 upgedatet. Das ganze lief recht problemlos auch wenn es noch kein Gentoo ebuild hierfür gibt (s. Bug #82295).
Mit dem Update bin ich auch auf das neue Standard Theme umgestiegen, mit bisher nur minimalen Anpassungen… Wenn [...]

NanoBlogger sieht definitiv nach einer interessanten Blog Software aus. Alles was man zu brauchen scheint ist ein shell Account mit den Basis *nix Tools.

Und wieder da…

Nachdem nun fast einen Tag lang die Netzverbindung ausgefallen war sind wir wieder zurueck… LWL Technik kann doch schon nerven manchmal, besonders wenn man nur Zugriff zu einer der beiden Seiten hat.

Comment Spam

Back from vacation… and getting comment spam nearly daily at the moment I just installed MT-Blacklist which looks like a really nice plugin preventing spam using a regexp blacklist.

Finally changed the front page template

Finally got rid of the ESA news on the front page, which haven’t gotten any update for a long time, and changed the template, so that the last 5 entries are shown and not those of the last n days. That was just looking too empty

CVS for configuration files, web pages, etc

I just started using CVS to keep track of the changes I make to various configuration files and the templates for this blog etc. Hopefully i got the discipline to keep using it and hopefully it will make it easier for me to remember what I changed when.
